Can I organize a wedding ceremony at Flaxton Gardens?
Yes, we have two beautiful locations:
The beautiful escarpment with views that stretch from Moreton Island to Noosa.
We also have the delightful Vineyard Restaurant Gardens which are elegant and reflect the restaurant old world charm.
Do you have a minimum numbers for different areas?
The Winery requires 80 minimum people. A price of the per head charge will be added if numbers drop below this.
The barrel Room requires 30 minimum people. A price of the per head charge will be added if numbers drop below this.
The restaurant requires 30 minimum people. A price of the per head charge will be added if numbers drop below this.
Is there an additions fee for the room hire?
The Winery $500.00
The Barrel Room $300.00
The Restaurant $300.00
What is included in the package?
These packages are here to help guide and assist you along the way and get the ball rolling. They can be altered and changed to suit your individual needs. I am very keen to hear your thoughts and ideas. Please refer to wedding packages section for details.
What decorating options are included in the packages?
You are able to use any decorating items we have here on premises. These include;
All linen requirements in a number of colours, chair covers, sashes, burgundy carpet, wine barrels, candelabras, hurricane lamps, t lights, church pillar candles and holders, tall wrought iron 60-piece t-light holder, French chic candle-holders, table mirror bases, table numbers, lanterns and many more.
Can I leave my decorations for Flaxton Gardens to complete the tables?
Yes, please do let us do the hard work! Drop them off at your convenience and we will meet your needs with precision and attention to detail.
Do you recommend any suppliers?
We like to recommend local Sunshine Coast Hinterland suppliers. There are many talented people up on The Range, whom can be part of creating this unique day for you. Please see our supplier’s page
How best is it to work with the beverages?
There are three options:
An open cash bar where guests pay for their own beverages.
A beverage package
A tab included in the invoice
You can also combine the three options throughout the night depending on your time plan. We have two fully set bars with all the beers on tap and a full selection of beverages
When is the room available from?
From 9.00am on your wedding day. If the room is not used the night before you may have access the day before. It is best to check this nearer your wedding day.
When do you require payments?
$1,000.00 on booking. This confirms the booking. Non refundable in the instance if you need to cancel.
$1,000.00 30 days prior to the function date.
Full payment 14 days prior based on the final numbers given.
What is your cancellation policy?
In the event that you need to cancel the following charges are made:
$1000.00 deposit is non refundable.
Notification of 30 or less days second payment of $1,000.00 is non refundable.
Notification of 13 days or less days the final payment is non refundable.
Please note we are a business who works with integrity so if we are able to re-sell the date then a full refund will be given if you cancel.
What time do we need to leave by?
Last orders for beverages will be called at 11.15pm. You and your guests need to depart by 11.45pm.
What are the noise restrictions?
By law it is against our policy to exceed the given Decibel Reading for noise. All music must be kept to the following DB reading: 90 DB before 10.00pm. 82 DB after 10.00pm.
Who is there on the day?
I, Georgina Thompson, with a full team of staff will be there. I will be there from the start until the end to make sure that I am available to you.
Is there a car park?
We have a very large car park and we can hold up to 80 cars.
Is there accommodation?
No, not at present but we do have various option available within a short distance. Please refer to the accommodation link on the home page.
